Friendly flavors in a brutalist atmosphere
Combining a climbing gym with an eco-conscious restaurant, this hybrid space has something for everyone. Some come for the bouldering wall, built in a converted warehouse with a bright, industrial vibe. Others come for the restaurant, whose brutalist atmosphere has a friendly flavor. The kitchen is run by Anthony, a classically trained chef, whose technical precision, passion, and humble appetite for improvement are reflected in his cooking. His primary objective? To source ingredients within a radius of less than 250km while prioritizing as many organic products as possible. Vegetarians and omnivores alike are in for a treat, whether it’s a vegetable tartare with a green curry foam sauce or a burger made from carefully sourced meat. Arkose’s slogan—“natural urban climbing”—is perfectly consistent with this restaurant’s commitment to natural, seasonal cooking.

“We try to bring life to local products,” explains the chef, “in a cuisine that is as flavorful as it is simple, and always fresh.”
