A bistro breathing new life into a rural town

In the small town of Simorre in the Gers department of southwest France, Séverine and Arthur Pailhès have transformed the local watering hole into a kind of “cultural bistro.” Le Bouche à Oreille serves quality food and drink while acting as a center for social and cultural life in this rural setting, hosting “garden patch” Mondays, card game competitions every Thursday, a Saturday concert series, and other culinary events each week.
