Have your cake and eat it, too

Why opt for a strawberry cream cake in February when you can have a seasonal quince tarte tatin made with locally grown fruit? Located in the picturesque Popincourt neighborhood of Paris, Emma Duvéré’s eponymous shop offers a variety of sweet and savory options, from classic French pastries to takeaway lunch specials, all made on site with seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Emma and her partner Isabelle favor short, farm-to-table circuits without skimping on quality or creativity. Gourmet pastries, but also good works: the shop’s leftovers are donated every Sunday to a local shelter.
