A contemporary take on the mountain café
Located on the garden level of the Maison Aribert, the Michelin two-starred restaurant on the floorabove, Café A offers all the charm and comfort of a mountain café—immense communal tables made of oak, exposed ceiling beams, and homestyle cooking—with a contemporary, eco-friendly flair. For chef Christophe Aribert, the idea was to offer a unique culinary experience in an environmentally sustainable way. Café A has sustainability at its core: a short menu featuring plant-based dishes and favoring fish and chicken over red meat;a permaculture kitchen garden; an aversion to plastic; a commitment to reducing, reusing, and recycling waste; and the use of natural cleaning products.
